Curt and I were 'Artists in Residence' at Art Works Gallery. I was working on faux stained glass.
Curt's daughter phoned and stated that she wanted to move to Oregon. We spent the next two weeks emptying one room in our house for her.

Curt and I traveled to Texas to get her. Since we were in the neighborhood, we went to Shreveport, Louisiana, to visit friends and see our old house.
I still needed to book Canada and more.
We logged 5061 miles in 12 days.

When we returned home, we began adjusting to having four dogs, a cat, and three adults in a 783-square-foot house.
We were excited to get back to the art gallery and get everything ready for holiday sales.
The owner surprised us,
"I sold the business while you were gone, and you have two weeks to get everything out."
